Biography

High School: A four-year varsity starter as an outfielder and pitcher for Carmel High School... hit .375 and started in left field as a freshman... as a sophomore he hit .400, earned 2nd Team All-League honors and helped Carmel win the Mission Trail Athletic League title... as a Junior, he hit .411 at the plate, was 7-1 with a 1.98 ERA on the mound, earned 1st Team All-League honors, and helped Carmel win another Mission Trail Athletic League title… as a senior, he lead the team in hits, walks, rbis, stolen bases, and runs scored and once again earned 1st Team All-League honors.

Personal: Traven was born Fayetteville, North Carolina, but was raised in Carmel, California… the son of Kiri Peterson and Greg Tapson…  has three siblings, Ryker, Cayden, and Nicole… an economics major at CMC.
