CLAREMONT, Calif. - 
Jeffrey Koretz scored six goals, 
Luke (Bear) Weigle tallied four, and goalies 
Jake Taylor and 
Liam Luinenburg added one apiece as the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men's water polo team earned a 28-6 win over Caltech on Wednesday night at Axelrood Pool. 
With the win, CMS moves to 15-4 on the season and extends its winning streak to 11 in a row, while moving to 5-0 in SCIAC play. 
The Stags scored 10 times in the first quarter alone to go ahead 10-1, and took a 17-2 lead into halftime. Luinenburg played the second half in goal and came forward to take a penalty shot in the fourth quarter. Taylor played the first quarter in goal and entered the game as a field player in the fourth, converting a goal in front on a 6-on-5. 
A total of 14 players scored goals for the Stags in all. 
Nick Kennedy had three goals and a team-high four assists, 
Christopher Petrossian and 
Donovan Davidson each had two goals and two assists, 
Asher Engelberg had two goals and an assist. 
Ivey Gehring and 
Thomas Walker each had a goal and two assists, 
Tobias Schoenwald and 
Caiden Titus had a goal and an assist apiece, and 
Weston Hartel had three assists. 
CMS will be back in action on Saturday when it hosts Cal Lutheran for an 11 a.m. contest.
