CLAREMONT, Calif. - Izzy Doud, Samantha Ennis, Mackenzie Mayfield and Kelly Prawira of the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's swimming and diving team earned spots on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team, the organization announced today.

The CSC Academic All-America program recognizes student-athletes who combine athletic success with high academic achievement. The four Athenas all met the minimum requirements for both GPA and athletic participation.

Doud is a public policy major at Claremont McKenna, and qualified for the NCAA Championships with a regional title in the three-meter dive. She was also the SCIAC Champion in both the one-meter and three-meter dives and was named the SCIAC Diver of the Year, and was a second-team All-America selection on both boards in her career.

Ennis majors in psychology at Claremont McKenna and earned her way to the NCAA Championships with the 400-yard CMS medley relay team and helped the Athenas earn second-team All-America honors with the second-fastest time in program history. She is also a former SCIAC Champion in the 100 back, and was a SCIAC finalist in both backstroke events this year, finishing fourth in the 100 and fifth in the 200.

Mayfield earned first-team All-America honors twice and second-team once as an individual at the NCAA Championships this year, coming in seventh in the 200 fly, eighth in the 200 IM and 14th in the 100 fly. She set a SCIAC record in the 200 fly at the league championships with a 2:01.30, and added a league title in the 200 IM and finished second in the 100 fly.

Prawira made her third trip to nationals this year with the 400-yard medley relay team and earned second-team All-America honors. She was an individual qualifier for CMS in the 200 breast as a sophomore, and earned All-SCIAC honors in the 100 breast this year, while making the finals in the 200 breast and the 200 IM as well.

Doud and Mayfield were chosen by a CSC committee to advance through to the Academic All-America ballot, which will be announced later this month.
