GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's swimming and diving team ended the 2025 NCAA Division III Championships in 16th place at the conclusion of the four-day event on Saturday.
Izzy Doud capped off her career with a 17th-place finish in the three-meter dive, while
Katy Shaw earned 22nd place in the 1650.
Over the course of the four days,
Mackenzie Mayfield earned first-team All-America twice, coming in eighth in the 200 IM on Wednesday, and seventh in the 200 fly on Friday.
Sun Young Byun also captured first-team All-America distinction in between with a sixth-place finish in the 100 fly on Thursday.
Madeleine Kan (13th) and Mayfield (14th) earned second-team All-America honors in the 100 fly and Byun was a second-team All-America in the 200 fly (16th).
The 400-yard medley relay had the highest finish for the Athenas in the relays by coming in 10th place on Wednesday, as
Samantha Ennis,
Kelly Prawira, Mayfield and Kan swam a 3:45.78 to come in second in the consolation final. The 200-yard medley of
Annette Chang,
Milan Manfredi, Mayfield and Kan earned second-team All-America honors as well.
CMS finished with 56 points to end in 16th place, just ahead of Case Western and Ithaca, and just behind Johns Hopkins (81), Amherst (81) and Bowdoin (70). MIT won the title with 497 points, with NYU second with 470 and Kenyon third with 438.
