Ayla Ahmad to Join CMS Athletic Training Staff

CLAREMONT, Calif. - Ayla Ahmad will join the athletic training staff at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps beginning on Wednesday, Aug. 6. 

Ahmad joins the CMS staff with some SCIAC experience, after spending the last year as an assistant athletic trainer at Occidental, following her undergraduate and graduate studies at La Verne. Her sport responsibilities at Occidental included soccer, cross country, swimming and diving, track and field and softball.

Ahmad also was a student athletic trainer at La Verne in 2023, working largely with the football program, as well as Citrus College in 2004, where her assignments were with men's basketball, softball and baseball. Her time as a student trainer also had her work for one semester at Arcadia High School and one at San Dimas High School. 

After earning her bachelor's degree in kinesiology in 2022, with an emphasis in health and human performance, Ahmad remained at La Verne and earned her master's degree in athletic training in 2024.
