NEWBERG, Ore. -
Bryce Didrickson was 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI, but the George Fox baseball team used a six-run third inning to take control and went on to earn an 11-5 win over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Sunday in the final game of a four-game series.
The Stags slip to 23-11 with the loss, while George Fox improves to 13-20 after taking three of the four games over the weekend.

Cruz Wexler got the Stags on the board when he had an RBI single to plate
Blaise Heher, who singled with two outs and went to third on a double from
Keegan Cabrera. Didrickson then had an infield single to score Cabrera and make it 2-0.
After George Fox went ahead 6-3, Heher hit a solo shot in the fourth to get the Stags back within 6-4, but George Fox played three in the bottom of the fourth, and added runs in the sixth and seventh. Didrickson came through with a two-out RBI single in the eighth to try to spark a late rally, but the Bruins were able to hold on for the win.
Wexler finished 2-for-4 at the plate, while Heher finished 2-for-5 with three runs scored, and
Alex Henderson was 2-for-5 as well.
