CLAREMONT, Calif. - Six members of the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men's cross country and track and field teams earned Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Communicators, the organization announced today.
The CSC Academic All-District and All-America Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletics and in the classroom. Nomination for the award requires meeting minimum standards of both athletic participation and cumulative grade point average.
Hayden Beauchemin,
Jacob Pippel,
Matthew Jabro and
Daniel Voyles earned the honor after competing for both the cross country team in the fall, and the track and field team in the spring.
Kaden Cassidy and
Jaden Rattay were honored for their performances in track and field, helping the Stags to the SCIAC title and qualifying for nationals.
The Academic All-America teams will be announced in mid-July.
