The women of CMS Athenas Tennis started their competitive season
with a 9-0 win at Caltech on Saturday, February 13th. The team
stepped onto Caltech's campus ready for a day of success and that
is exactly what they achieved. After just 3 hours, the Athenas
walked off the court, each taking their matches in straight sets.
They are now 1-0 in conference.

Jaclyn Smrecek thrashing their opponents Michelle Jiang and Wubing
Ye with an 8-0 pro-set win. #2 doubles team Alle Hsu and Hannah
Gordon, and #3 doubles Emilee Feldhausen and Riley Thomlison also
had very comfortable wins of 8-2 each.
In singles, #6 Hannah Gordon was the first to finish her debut
singles match in a quick 6-0, 6-0 defeat against Cici Li. #4 Emilee
Feldhausen (pictured at right) quickly followed with a 6-0, 6-0 win
