CLAREMONT, Calif. - Simone Sabeeh of the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's swimming and diving team earned the SCIAC Diver of the Week honor for events through Sunday, Nov. 9, the conference office announced today. 

Sabeeh earned regional qualifying scores on both boards as she took first place in a double dual with Chapman and Whittier on both the 1 meter and the 3 meter. She had a 276.65 on the one-meter to win by just under seven points over teammate Meilan Uyeno (who also qualified). And she added 293.45 points on the three meter, a 38.45 margin over Uyeno. 

Sabeeh has now won the SCIAC Diver of the Week honor after both of her collegiate meets. She also earned it on Oct. 20, following a double dual with UC San Diego and Simon Fraser. 

CMS will be back in action on Saturday for its home opener against Caltech, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
