CLAREMONT, Calif. - The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's swimming and diving team honored its six seniors at its final regular season competition, when it hosted the CMS Invitational on Saturday at Axelrood Pool.

Izzy Doud,
Samantha Ennis,
Jade Hudson,
Kelly Prawira,
Alexis Romero and
Anna Werts prior to the meet.
The meet was a non-scoring event, but the Athenas put up some strong performances anyway in their final tune-up before the SCIAC Championships later this month. Doud earned wins on both diving boards, breaking 500 points on the three-meter with a 514.25 and adding 487.15 in the one-meter, with Romero second with a 458.95. Prawira came in second in the 200 IM behind
Sun Young Byun, and added a second-place finish in the 100 breast in 105.70.
Mackenzie Mayfield jumped into third place in CMS history in the 400 IM with a 4:26.93, while Byun moved into fourth in CMS history in the 200 fly with a 2:04.12, just .06 ahead of Mayfield's top time.
Avalon Sanders also picked up a win in the 500 free in 5:02.82, leading a 1-2-3 CMS finish with
Allison Nguyen second and
Revere Schmidt third.
CMS will be back in action when it competes at the SCIAC Championship at East LA College from Feb. 19-22.
