CLAREMONT, Calif. - Claremont-Mudd-Scripps will serve as the official host of the ITA West Regionals this Friday-Sunday, with matches taking place at both the Biszantz Family Tennis Center at CMS and the Pauley Tennis Complex at Pomona-Pitzer.
Action will get underway on Friday morning with singles, where
Henry Wilson is the No. 2 seed for the Stags, opening up play at 10 a.m. at Biszantz.
Kristian Sharma and
Sibi Raja are also two of the four No. 5 seeds, while
Josh Kim,
Amrith Kodumuri, and
Charles Martin will also be in the A bracket.
In doubles, Wilson and Sharma will be the No. 3 seed, opening up play at 5 p.m. on Friday after two rounds of singles are complete, while Kim and
Anirudh Reddy will be the No. 4 seed. Kodumuri and Martin will also be paired up in the 16-team field.
The top two finishers in the singles and doubles competition will advance to the ITA Cup in two weeks in Rome, Georgia, while the ITA West Regional champions will secure ITA All-America honors when the full team is announced in June.
