CLAREMONT, Calif. - Six members of the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's soccer team earned Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Communicators, the organization announced this week.
The Academic All-District award is open to sophomores and older who meet the minimum participation requirements, and have a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale).
Seniors
Sadie Brown,
Ivy Doran,
Cate Lewison and
Riley Zitar earned spots on the All-District team in their final campaigns, while juniors
Flora Glantz and
Jordan Yates were also chosen.
Brown, Doran, Lewison and Yates were also chosen as finalists to advance for Academic All-America consideration, which will be announced in December.
CMS finished the season with a 13-4-3 record, while qualifying for the NCAA Division III Tournament for the second year in a row.
