CLAREMONT, Calif. -
Zeno Bang,
Atticus English and
John Laidlaw earned All-SCIAC second team honors for the 2025 season, the conference office announced today.
Laidlaw, a senior midfielder, repeated on the All-SCIAC second team after also earning a spot last season. He had a team-high six goals and three assists this fall, including a two-goal, one-assist game in a 3-3 tie with Occidental, which earned the SCIAC regular season title. He also had a goal in a win over nationally ranked Messiah, and had a late equalizer on a penalty kick in a 1-1 tie with Whittier.
A first-year defender, English started 16 of the 17 games he played in as an outside back, picking up an assist in his college debut at nationally ranked Trinity. He also had a goal and an assist in a 2-0 win at Redlands.
A sophomore defender, Bang missed most of his rookie season last year with an injury, and fought through some injuries again this season to settle in as one of the team's starting center backs. He played all 90 minutes for the Stags nine times, including the last four games in a row.
Bang and English will be key parts of next season's defense as the Stags will look to return to the form that brought them to the NCAA Round of 16 a year ago. Laidlaw, meanwhile, graduates with 24 career goals and 12 assists, including 11 goals to help lead the NCAA Tournament run last year.
