CLAREMONT, Calif. - Cate Lewison and Amelia Ulmer of the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's lacrosse team earned Division III Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Communicators, the organization announced today. 

The CSC Academic All-District and All-America Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletics and in the classroom. Nomination for the award requires meeting minimum standards of both athletic participation and cumulative grade point average. 

Lewison and Ulmer had key roles in helping the Athenas reach the NCAA Division III Tournament for the first time since 2022. Ulmer was named the SCIAC Offensive Player of the Year, while Lewison earned first-team All-SCIAC for the third time in her three seasons with the program. Lewison also earned Academic All-District in both soccer and lacrosse this academic year. 

The Academic All-America teams will be announced in early July.
