CLAREMONT, Calif. - The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps volleyball team opens its 2026 season by serving as one of three hosts at the Pacific Coast Classic, with eight matches scheduled for Roberts Pavilion on Friday and Saturday. Pomona-Pitzer will serve as the primary host institution, while La Verne will also host matches at its facility.
The Athenas begin play at 5:30 on Friday when they face Westminster (Mo.) in their 2026 season opener. They then face North Central on Saturday at 12:30 and end the tournament at 5:30 on Saturday against Lasell. Occidental, Whittier and Cal Lutheran will also represent the SCIAC at Roberts Pavilion over the two-day event.
